Plans: Every custom home construction begins with a
concept and a vision, whether it is a sketch on a napkin, a
preexisting model or a stock plan. One of the most arduous
and crucial tasks is effectively communicating your ideas
and needs to your selected builder. Stock plans can be a
valuable tool when it comes to conveying such ideas.
Tweaking plans can be as simple as adding windows, modifying
design elements or as complex as combining aspects of
multiple plan ideas. Either way, starting with a PLAN can
speed up the overall process - that is why I am providing
links to a couple of my favorite public access websites for
building plans as a form of inspiration.
